Update on Facility as of April 23, 2014

This should be my final facilities update to you!  We have finally moved everyone back into the building.  Pretty much everything to repair inside is finished.  We are working up a punch list of a few little details.  We still have to get our artwork from art storage and reinstall it, but otherwise interierlly we are good to go!

Outside, we still have crews working on the guttering and water drainage systems, repouring some sidewalks that got busted by the heavy equipment, reviving and replanting some landscape, and then finally, we will resurface the parking lot probably sometime in early May.

We now have a wonderful backyard play area, thanks to KaBOOM!, Devon Energy, and the Thunder Cares Foundation.  The only thing left to do in the yard is for the final painting of the Thunder NBA logo and some final cleaning touchups!

We are not complete on our fiancial analysis to know the final impact of the damage on our finances.  We are still working with insurance on furniture claims and other business expenses (like installation and rental of the temporary office spaces).

What a long 11 months!  But the upside to all the turmoil is that we have a bunch of new friends looking out for us and helping us with our mission.  I want to personally thank each and every one of you for your kind words, assistance, concern and prayers.  We could not have done it without such great community support.

Please come and see us soon so we can show off to you!  Dee Blose, Director
