Christmas Sponsors

We had so many awesome sponsors this year for Christmas!  Here they are:

Laura and Chris Kochendorfer, founders of Fostering Foundations went above and beyond to assist our clients at Christmas.  They personsonally adopted all the nine children in the shelter, as well as some of our Independent Living clients and their children.  They also recruited many of their friends and family to cover the other ILP youth and children, and clothing and PJs for the foster care children.

The Canadian Valley Technology Center Skills USA group adopted the YFS Foster Care program as a community service project for the holiday!  The students put up a tree with all the wishes of the children, and they were all adopted by students from the Cowan Campus in Yukon.  See more pics HERE.

Wymer Brownlee staff adopted youth in Independent Living, specifically youth from Watonga and The Spot.  They got items on their Christmas lists, including clothing needs.  They delivered them to us and took an agency tour!

Diffee Motors Staff and Court Diffee collected specific household items for youth living independently in apartments.

Staff at Performance Technologies came through with a very special request we made of them!

Heritage Press donated lots of sample goods which were distributed throughout our programs!

We had one young friend use her Christmas money to buy presents for a child.  Life Church Yukon helped with wrapping paper and stocking stuffers.  Integris Yukon had a food drive so that we could cook holiday dinners for our holiday gift parties and Loabi Boutique gave 10 pairs of shoes!  Chisholm Heights quilting club made quilts for the shelter and Target donated Christmas Trees.  Banner Schools brought coats, clothing and gifts as well.

And then we had many friends, including ONG, Spanish Cove Retirement Center, First Christian Church of El Reno, and Genie Vinson Real Estate, send in monetary donations to the continued support of our programs.  It was a great Christmas, THANKS TO YOU ALL!
